I, Adultwebmaster!

This is something I am not sure has been discussed before but I see it as an important issue for the adultwebmaster…

First of all I am in no way bashing the programs I mention in this post, I make alot of money with them and the purpose of this post is to spark a discussion and maybe help us affiliates make more money.

The Issue:
I noticed that many sponsors have an apparent traffic leak on their sites whereby if a surfer that is considering joining a site clicks on the “Members” button/link instead of the “Join Now” button then we lose the tracking on the next page after they are denied access.

For example on the Topbucks ( eg http://teensforcash.com/?nopop=1 ) and Nastydollars (eg http://www.cumfiesta.com/main.htm?id=&p=clean) tours if a surfer you send them clicks on the “Members” button the your tracking id is lost and replaced by the house account linkcode) on the next page (I am sure a significant percentage of surfers click the Members button at least 5% ? maybe more, what do you think?)

Some paysites you are sending traffic to like http://www.amateur-facials.com (from afdollars, another great sponsor ) dont even have a subsequent page if a surfer clicks on the Members button and doesnt have a password.

The Fix:
I figure if all sponsors could somehow still give us credit on the next page for surfers that click on the Members button then it only makes sense we would see a higher conversion rate hence more money in the affiliates pocket. This “Members Button credit” feature would be a great way for sponsors to differentiate themselves and demonstrate that they are attempting to credit us as much as they can for the traffic we send them.

Even if making this simple change on the tours increases my sales by 1% that would mean $1000s of dollars a year to me which would add up over the years.

See for yourself:
Take a look at the sponsors you send the most traffic to and see if you get credit on the next page for people that click on the members button.

And if you are a sponsor that does give credit on the subsequent page for people that do click on the member button on your tours please post in this thread and I will definitely add your sites to my network.

I really like being an adultwebmaster. Aside from the fact that I get paid very well to see naked women and I am my own boss I love the nature of the internet. Things are always changing and new challenges and opportunies arise everyday that make this “job” exciting for me. If you are the type of person that likes security and dont like change then an internet business is not for you.

Here are some examples of new opportunities in the adultbusiness:
- Always new sites and sponsors to promote: for example TeenRevenue from the guys at triplexcash just got launched and I already havea few sales with the Teen Topanga site.

- Blogs are a new source of traffic: Dont know what a blog is? Here’s a hint… you’re reading one right now! If I were you I’d look into how blogs work and start one yourself, I think it is definitely worth it for teh search engine traffic and bookmarkers. The key i think is to pick a specific niche/topic to make a blog about and just start making regular journal entries. If you already have a pornblog then add it to the Top Pornblogs toplist.

Here are some examples of new challenges in the adultbusiness:

- Mastering the search engine game: Now I am not sure if “mastering” is the right word as I think it is a continual learning process but definitely I have experienced the benefits of great search engine listings as well as what happens when the search engines decied to drop your sites for whatever reason. The trick is to diversify your sites so you are never relying too much on any one search term or domain/server for search engine traffic.

- Working productively to reach your goals: Most people daydream of being their own boss but it definitely is a challenge to stay motivated some days. I think its good to make sure you have a good mix of work, exercise, leisure time, and social interaction to keep your mind healthy and productive.

So as you can see being an adultwebmaster isn’t always a glamourus thing but the $$$ and the personal freedom makes it worth it to me for sure!

so much to do so little time… i just moved into a new condo and I am still trying to get back into a solid routine when it comes to work. Working from home has its challenges, you are left alone to create your own schedule and motivation to get things done.

One thing I am going to start doing again is making lists of things to do. Its not enough to just make a list “in your head” - i think the act of actually getting a pen and paper and writing it out by hand really solidifies what needs to get done and prepares your mind for accomplishing the tasks on the lists.

So if you’re and adult webmaster and ideas, projects and things to do are constantly popping in and out of your head, try writing a list out - i bet it’ll help you be more productive!

There are so many different ways and products to make money in the adult internet that it can make your head spin. One thing I want to start doing is starting to sell Video on Demand sites like those just launched by TopBucks’ VOD program as well as adult store products like dildos and toys - I have already sold stuff using the PEcash adultstore.

The key is to diversify your income so you are not depending on any one site, niche or webmaster program for your income. I have experienced firsthand how your income can drop if you rely too much on only search engine traffic - google or yahoo can drop your links as quickly as they add them!

Well it seems that webblogs are taking over the adultwebmaster world. Everyone and their mother is starting up a porn blog. Now I usually dont like following the trends just cuz everyone is doing it but I have experienced that search engines like google really do like them.

I guess the reasons why search engines like to show blogs in results include:
- daily updated content which is more likely to be relavant rather than a pge that is 2 years old or even months old.

- visitors and surfers like the diary format of blogs with easily searchable archives of useful content.

- blogs tend to stick to a specific niche of content/info which means that a surfer that finds a blog in the topic they are interested is more likely to bookmark and have return visits which ups the value/experience of the search engine that sent them there.

So not to be left out in the cold I have started my first pornblog (iadultwebmaster is my second blog).
