I just wanted to post a quick message letting you know what’s up. I haven’t posted on my blog in a while but I am feeling into it again.

That is the beauty of working for myself, I can pick and choose the projects I work on. Judging from the emails I have been getting iadultwebmaster.com is very popular… people keep asking for more, more and more interesting entries and information from me.

Over the next little while I am going to post regulary. Hi everyone, I am back from my gallavanting in South Florida and getting back into a work routine. Although, its summer now so there will be lots of distractions (most of them wearing short skirts and tank tops ) .

Anyway, in case you havent heard, Topbucks just released 4 more great sites last night - 3 of them are reality sites and one is a dvd download site. Its Monday March 14th, 2005 and I am working all day on converting my blog to the wordpress format. I have decided to do this because of the overwhelming positive response I have received about my blog from the adultwebmaster community.

So please excuse the mess while I upgrade today. I will be adding my entries from the previous month and should be done sometime today.

Using wordpress will allow you to read my blog with a rss reader without having to visit this site as well as allow other blogs to trackback my blog entries.
Both items will increase traffic and bookmarkers to this blog.

I recommend getting the free wordpress blog script. It was a fairly simple installation on my server. The great thing is you can easily custimize the look of your wordpress blog by running a search for “wordpress themes” in google.

I need to clarify something. I created iadultwebmasters blog as a source of information for the serious adultwebmaster that actually builds and owns online assets.

Over the past few days I have discovered another underlying business/market/activity in this industry that I was completely unaware of. And that’s the ability for people to earn money posting on message boards all day. Whether its by per post or by referring affiliates to a sponsor. I am SO glad I was ignorant of it. It means I was too busy building my business rather than making my participation on a messageboard my business.

Now this is not to lay blame or criticize anyone for however they make their money. If you are making money that your are happy with in whatever form then good for you.

I just wanted to clarify that the iadultwebmaster blog and all the information I provide here is intended for those people who actually build/create/submit sites/pages, send sales and are continuingly increasing their income by building their network of assets.

Well, the time has come… after 8 years in this amazing business I am ready to lease some office space and hire my first employee. After I train my first employee then more employees will follow.

I have been spending too much time lately on tasks that could easily and profitably be handed off to a less experienced (but motivated) adultwebmaster so I can spend time with the big projects.

The acquisition of office space is in progress.

Entry-Level Adultwebmaster Required:

I am looking for a fulltime entry-level adultwebmaster - by that I mean you must have mastered HTML (tables, forms, etc) but may have little or no experience in the adult business. Of course you must have experience in basic webmaster skills such as ftping, basic image editing, etc. Any other technical skills you have are a bonus such as database programming, graphic design, movie editing, etc.

I prefer someone that does not have much experience in the adult business but is eager to learn. You will learn firsthand how I make my money in this business and how you can too — think of this not as a job, but as an apprenticeship. I am looking for The Apprentice. After working with me you should never have to work FOR anyone else ever again.

I’ve always wanted to do this ever since I started noticing gfy threads where people refuse to tell exactly how much they make a month.

I always thought “what’s the big deal with saying how much you make?”:

This is my thinking process:

1. NOONE CAN CONFIRM IT: first of all, noone knows if the number you say is bullshit or not, so why not say a number?

Plus incomes vary based on how much time/energy you put into your business. I’d prefer to be making $1000 a month spending 2 hours a month on my business rather than making $5000/month but working 80 hours a week.

2. IF YOU EXAGGERATE: Only you will know that you are living a lie… Not a good thing if people who make about the same level you claim want to do business with you.

3. IF YOU SAY A SMALLER NUMBER: Then you are missing out on opportunies that may arise from people who are looking for webmasters making good money in this business.

Some people say its none of anyone’s business how much I make… true dat… but I believe by stating your income you are promoting the stage you are at in this business and will attract likeminded people at the same level to network with you. Like they say, many times its not what you know but who you know. You really have nothing to lose.

If you make more than me then good for you You serve as inspiration for me to keep building my business. If you make less than me then I hope I serve as an inspiration to you as a number of people did when I was coming up.

I have never been one to follow rules or traditions that I didnt agree with if I didnt have to.

And this is one tradition I dont agree with.

So that is why I am about to post exactly how much money my statsremote says I made for the month of January 2005.

Keep in mind my total expenses for the month were about $1500 which includes my servers, bandwith, and domain names.

I really like being an adultwebmaster. Aside from the fact that I get paid very well to see naked women and I am my own boss I love the nature of the internet. Things are always changing and new challenges and opportunies arise everyday that make this “job” exciting for me. If you are the type of person that likes security and dont like change then an internet business is not for you.

Here are some examples of new opportunities in the adultbusiness:
- Always new sites and sponsors to promote: for example TeenRevenue from the guys at triplexcash just got launched and I already havea few sales with the Teen Topanga site.

- Blogs are a new source of traffic: Dont know what a blog is? Here’s a hint… you’re reading one right now! If I were you I’d look into how blogs work and start one yourself, I think it is definitely worth it for teh search engine traffic and bookmarkers. The key i think is to pick a specific niche/topic to make a blog about and just start making regular journal entries. If you already have a pornblog then add it to the Top Pornblogs toplist.

Here are some examples of new challenges in the adultbusiness:

- Mastering the search engine game: Now I am not sure if “mastering” is the right word as I think it is a continual learning process but definitely I have experienced the benefits of great search engine listings as well as what happens when the search engines decied to drop your sites for whatever reason. The trick is to diversify your sites so you are never relying too much on any one search term or domain/server for search engine traffic.

- Working productively to reach your goals: Most people daydream of being their own boss but it definitely is a challenge to stay motivated some days. I think its good to make sure you have a good mix of work, exercise, leisure time, and social interaction to keep your mind healthy and productive.

So as you can see being an adultwebmaster isn’t always a glamourus thing but the $$$ and the personal freedom makes it worth it to me for sure!
